Growing the Conversation on Achondroplasia - Part 2: Coordinating Care in Pediatric Achondroplasia: Taking a Team Approach

This two-part educational webcast series is intended for clinical geneticists, clinical endocrinologists, and pediatric endocrinologists to educate on management of skeletal dysplasia and particularly achondroplasia. The first part aims to establish the burden of achondroplasia, explore the pathophysiology of the disorder, and then highlight the unmet need in management of achondroplasia and emerging therapies that can help improve management of patients. In the second session, the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to managing patients with achondroplasia and the position of pediatric endocrinologists in the treatment of these patients will be highlighted.
