Despite heightened awareness of preventive measures for influenza and COVID-19, HCPs (heath care providers) in the primary care setting face the challenge of vaccine acceptance. The enduring risk posed by vaccine-preventable diseases such as Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), shingles, and pneumococcal disease, particularly in the older population, often leads to significant health complications. This situation emphasizes the critical need for primary care providers (PCPs) to remain abreast of the continuously evolving vaccination landscape.
