Provider-level obstacles, such as weight bias, stigma, and limited patient engagement in shared decision-making, further complicate effective weight management. In light of the expanding array of therapeutic choices for individuals with obesity, it is imperative for clinicians to adopt shared decision-making practices to improve treatment adherence, support patient goals, and foster an environment of holistic patient-centered care.
